The oath-taking ceremony for the recruits has been held.
On February 8, a military oath-taking ceremony for new recruits was held at the “N” military unit of the Internal Troops in Baku.
Deputy Commander of the Internal Troops, Chief of Personnel Department Major-General İngilab Muradov also attended the ceremony.
The battle flag of the military unit was brought to the parade ground with a military ceremony. The ceremony began with the commemoration of the dear memories of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs, followed by the performance of the National Anthem. The soldiers took their military oath, promising to honorably protect the interests, sovereignty, territorial integrity, and independence of the Republic of Azerbaijan, vowing to spare no effort, even their lives, in doing so.
In his speech at the ceremony, the commander of the military unit, Colonel Bahruz Kazımov, advised the soldiers to remain loyal to the Motherland, the state, and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, to serve with exemplary discipline, to thoroughly learn the secrets of weapons and equipment while constantly improving their combat readiness, to execute the orders and instructions of the command staff precisely and promptly, and to approach the fulfillment of their duties with responsibility.
Then, the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs - Commander of the Internal Troops, delivered a congratulatory message to the soldiers on the occasion of their military oath. The message emphasized that the young soldiers who took the oath, like all personnel of the troops, bear personal responsibility for every task assigned by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. It was also highlighted that the attention and care shown for strengthening and empowering the Internal Troops serves as an inspiration for every young soldier serving in the ranks to fulfill their duties with determination.
It was noted that by taking the military oath and pledging to protect the independence, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of our republic as their most sacred duty, each serviceman should fully comprehend the true meaning of this oath.
The congratulatory message also noted that the personnel of the Internal Affairs Forces under the command of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief have made sacrifices in the 44-day Patriotic War and in local anti-terrorist measures, which resulted in the glorious victory of our people It was emphasized that the young recruits joining our ranks, with hearts beating in loyalty, will always be fueled by love for the Motherland, and that they will not spare any effort in fulfilling their service and combat tasks with even greater dedication. They were also assured that they would remain loyal to the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the military oath, and regulations, and that they would achieve success in protecting our statehood, further strengthening our country, and contributing to its development and progress.
The ceremony ended with the solemn march of the military personnel.
