The next graduation was held at the Military Institute of Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs

A formal event honoring the graduation of the academic year 2024-2025 academic year was held at the Military Institute of the Internal Troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov attended the event.


Initially, tribute was paid to the memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, along with the military and police personnel who sacrificed their lives for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of our homeland while carrying out their military and combat duties, and the National Anthem of Azerbaijan was played.


Highlighting that the graduation ceremony is a major event in the Military Institute's life, Deputy Minister - Commander of the Internal Troops, Lieutenant General Shahin Mammadov, discussed the institution's development journey, the efforts made to enhance its material, technical, and educational resources, as well as the future objectives.


Minister Vilayat Eyvazov highlighted that the Internal Troops, a key division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, have undergone a commendable service journey since their inception and pointed out their significant contribution to the struggles for Azerbaijan's territorial integrity, along with maintaining stability and public safety within the nation. He underscored that the enhancement of the Internal Troops' combat readiness is consistently monitored by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, and numerous significant decisions have been taken regarding the provision of modern arms and equipment and the improvement of personnel's social welfare and mentioned that due to dedicated attention and care, the Internal Troops can effectively accomplish any combat task.



Colonel General V. Eyvazov acknowledged the bravery and patriotism of the Internal Troops servicemen on the front lines during the Patriotic War, leading to a glorious victory under the leadership of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. He noted that graduates of the Military Institute were among these servicemen, which clearly demonstrates the institution’s commitment to instilling loyalty to the state, the people, and adherence to military oaths in its cadets.




He conveyed his assurance that the Military Institute of the Internal Troops has effectively trained highly skilled, professional officer personnel for the troops as intended, and that this crucial responsibility will be carried out properly in the future.



The Minister of Internal Affairs emphasized the significance of the Turkish Armed Forces, particularly the Gendarmerie General Command, owing to their outstanding achievements in developing a professional core of personnel and enhancing the combat training of the troops.


It was mentioned that a new phase commences in the lives of graduates. Young officers who have gained such qualities as leadership, courage, dedication, honesty by mastering the profession of Commander in this educational institution, who love their profession, have modern thinking, will successfully continue their service in the ranks of the Internal Troops as already trained and professional servicemen, and will remain faithful to the combat traditions of the troops.


Minister V. Eyvazov extended his congratulations to the young officers, as well as their parents and relatives, on their successful graduation from the Military Institute. He expressed gratitude to the administration of this higher educational institution and the officer-teaching staff responsible for training professional personnel for the Internal Troops, and he wished them success in their future endeavors.


Cadet Chingiz Jafarli thanked the head of state, the Ministry of Internal Affairs leadership, and the officers and educators at the Military Institute for their support and attention. He affirmed that they will evolve into professional officers who will fulfill their responsibilities to the Motherland, state, and people and will consistently maintain a soldier's honor.

Then the Battle Flag was handed over to the third-year cadets. Young officer Kamil Ismayilov put a symbolic memorial plaque on the "Age stump".


At the end of the event, the Minister of Internal Affairs presented diplomas to graduates of the Military Institute with honors and the rank of "senior lieutenant".


At the end, the young officers marched in front of the tribune with a solemn march.
